Meditation before Worship
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession,
that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
I Peter 2:9
For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
Psalm 100:5
Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens!
Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness!
Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance;
praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
Psalm 150:1-6
Hymn Sing

*Call to Worship
Lord of us All, we seek to live a life worthy of our calling.
We cannot do this alone, we dare not try this alone, so we gather as the people of God, your Church.
We seek to live a life worthy of our calling, a life filled with humility and gentleness.
We come to build up our beloved part of Christ’s Body, Ranchos Presbyterian Church.
We seek to live a life worthy or our calling, a life filled with service and love.
We come to join hands with all others who would serve Christ; for we are all his Church!
As you have blessed us in the past, continue to be with us in the years to come.
We rejoice in our oneness in Jesus; we would share your Grace given to us, and through us. Halleluiah!
Let us worship and celebrate together.
*Opening Hymn “O God, Our Help in Ages Past”
*Prayer of Celebration
Loving Lord, you have been our refuge from one generation to another.
Hear us as we raise our voices together giving you thanks and praise, saying….
Lord God, Creator of heaven and earth, one hundred and twenty-five years ago you planted Ranchos Presbyterian Church.
Over all these years, you generously nurtured it with Grace and Love.
Your Scriptures have been read and revealed here, your saving word has been proclaimed here,
your baptism has been celebrated here, around your Table so many people have been fed;
Jesus has always been honored here. We give you humble thanks for bringing us to this day.
And we pray that you would be with us as we continue joyfully
and faithfully to serve Jesus Christ, Our Lord, now and forever!
Amen.
*Gloria Patri
Gloria demos al Padre, Al Hijo y al Santo Espíritu;
Como eran al principio, Son hoy habrán de ser Eternamente.
Amén
