Call to Worship

Creator of life:
     bring us light, we pray.
Mourner of the dead:
take away our grief, we pray.
Refresher of dry lives:
bind us to God forever, we pray.
Be with us here at Ranchos, Lord, as we worship you together.

Hymn
“Da Vida a Mi Alma, Oh Dios"

Confession and Pardon
If God recorded all our failings in a big book, every page would be blank – for God forgives
and forgets all our transgressions.
So, as we await God's certain grace, let us confess
together, saying….

God of Grace, without your help we cannot throw off the grave-garments of our habitual sin.
These death-clothes seem so comfortable,
we fail to put on the robes of Light that you offer us.
Forgive our fears, our doubts, our wrongdoings, Lord.
Though we all fear death,
help us to place our ultimate trust in the One who overcame it, Jesus Christ, our Lord.

 Amen
