Christ’s beloved, behold the victory of our God:
Jesus, our Lord, has conquered the grave!
Christ is risen from the dead! Alleluia!
Sin and death reign no more.
Christ reigns! Alleluia!
Let Ranchos resound with joy!
Christ is risen! Alleluia!
Thanks be to God.
Hymn
“Jesus Christ Is Risen Today”
Confession and Pardon
Early on the first morning, God created the world.
Early on Christmas morning, Mary gently placed her new-born Son into a manger.
Early on Easter morning, astonished friends shared extraordinary news:
Jesus is risen and alive in our midst!
Early this morning, among our friends,
let us confess the concerns we bring to this place, saying…
Emptier of Tombs, we recoil from death – even as we know it will visit each of us.
You raised Jesus from the tomb just as you promised,
yet we are still surprised by his empty tomb!
We lack faith!
Even as you reveal your heavenly salvation promise,
we remain mired in earthly ways.
Forgive us; we need new vision, new life!
Renew our faith even as you send us forth to proclaim your Son!
Amen.
Silent Prayers
Assurance of Forgiveness

Como eran al principio, Son hoy habrán de ser Eternamente.
