Ranchos Presbyterian Church has a weekly worship service on Sundays at 10:00 AM. Everyone is invited!
We have special services on Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday. This year on Sunday, December 16th we held a "Christmas Hymn Sing" at 3:00 pm. The community was invited. We also combined our Sunday Worship and Candlelight Christmas service the Sunday before Christmas at 10:00 AM. Please see the "Calendar" under "Current Information" for monthly updates and special service announcements.
Communion is served the first Sunday of each month and Home Communion is available to those unable to attend services. All are invited to join in Communion with Christ! Please contact the Church Office if someone (member or non-member) is in need of Communion at home, hospital, or assisted living facility.
Music - We have a Hymn Sing at the start of each Worship service with songs selected by the congregation. This is a time for us to share favorite music and to introduce youth, new members, and visitors to the musical history of our church. All our music is by volunteers: our faithful pianist ( Jo Hutson ) and organist ( Mary Louise Trujillo ), the Joyful Noise Choir, and special musicians. Anyone interested in sharing music (voice or instrumental) and/or consider joining the Joyful Noise Choir, please contact Bob Shaw or Rev. Gould or call the office. (575) 224-2932
The Worship Committee for 2018 is Barbara Oline, Denise Ortega and Lillian Shaw. The committee is responsible for changing the paraments to coordinate with the church liturgical seasons, arranging for liturgists, and preparing for Communion and special services/events.
Note: We enjoyed our 125th Anniversary Worship Service, along with a meal and mariachi music on August 13, 2017. It was a great celebration.
